Simple Pico de Gallo
This flavourful mix will become a staple in your recipes! Use it in tacos, as a chip dip, as a salad topper, in breakfast skillets, or enjoy on its own
INGREDIENTS
3 roma tomatoes, firm and not over ripe
1/2 a yellow onion, finely diced
1 lime, juices
salt and pepper to taste
cilantro to taste, finely diced (optional)
METHOD

dice tomatoes gently, maintaining the integrity of the tomato. Aim for even dicing

add the tomatoes, onion, lime and cilantro in a bowl and gently combine.

STORAGE
pico de gallo will maintain freshness for about a week in the fridge in an airtight container.
